Inside Athletics

Welcome to Marymount Athletics

At Marymount, we believe that participation in athletics is an integral part of a well-rounded education. Our athletic programs provide a unique platform for students to develop not only their physical skills but also their character, discipline, and teamwork abilities. We view athletics as an extension of the classroom, where valuable life lessons are learned, and where our students can thrive in a positive and supportive environment.

Our primary focus is to nurture the potential, foster personal growth, self-confidence, and resilience in each and every student-athlete. We support a healthy balance of athletics and academics and we instill the importance of lifelong learning and the value of setting goals on and off the field.

Through athletic competition, we teach the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, equipping our students with valuable skills that will serve them well in their future endeavors.
As a Sailor, we value the power of teamwork and the spirit of sportsmanship. We encourage our student-athletes to compete with integrity, respecting their opponents, officials, and the rules of the game. Our goal is to create a culture of inclusivity, where every individual feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
