Student Government
Associated Student Body – ASB
Advisor: Dr. Cynthia Colón Hoepner

ASB, the student government organization at Marymount High School, supports and serves the traditions and community at Marymount High School.  Each Spring, the Marymount student body elects their ASB officers: President, Vice President, Social, Activities, Publicity and Athletic Coordinators.  Coordinators for Performing Arts, Campus Ministry, Diversity and Technology serve on the Student Council by appointment.

Each grade level also elects a Class Council which consists of a Class President, Vice President and two Class Representatives.  Class Councils meet regularly with their advisors to plan activities, support service projects, set goals for the year and represent ideas and concerns expressed by members of their respective class.  Freshman Class Council elections are held in the Fall of each year.

The ASB meets every Thursday at lunch. The ASB coordinates school dances and special events at Marymount. It works to ensure that students feel comfortable at school, balancing fun and responsibility. Its members foster a spirit of leadership and inspire girls to get involved on campus. A 3.0 GPA is required to run for office.  Members of the ASB participate in a summer workshop for student leaders to help them effectively lead their fellow students.
