Madame Dominique Abensour joined the Marymount faculty in 1996. She is a native French speaker who received her B.A. & M.A. in English Literature from Université d’Avignon and her D.E.A. (CPhil) in English Literature and Linguistics from Université de Montpellier. She also holds a second M.A. degree in French Language and Literature from the University of California at Los Angeles. She has taught all levels of French from Introduction to French to AP French Literature, as well as Introduction to Spanish and Spanish I and Spanish II for over thirty years in France, England and the United States.
