Marymount's BSA Shines in Honor of Black History Month

On February 28, Marymount’s Black Student Affinity (BSA) group presented a remarkable program for our community to culminate Black History Month.
Starting with prayer by Yva A. '25, students were encouraged to be in joyous relationships with one another and the world. Several students including Rhiann S. '22, Nia P. '23, Daniella I. '25 and faculty members, Ms. Cyreeta Sharp, Sra. Janeatrie Gibson and Ms. Shanta Robinson then sang the beautiful hymn “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and finished the performance with an energy-filled dance.

Well done to all students, Ms. Cyreeta Sharp (BSA Moderator) and Ms. Shanta Robinson (Dance Teacher) who worked for weeks to showcase this heartfelt honoring of Black History Month.
