Marymount High School's First Alumnae Professional Photography Art Show
Marymount High School's first Alumnae Professional Photography Art Show was an overwhelming success.
To be a photographer is to not only be passionate about life, but to be a student in the craft of seeing, and to go further, communicating to others how to make the world a better placeāin the blink of a shutter.
Marymount, an all-girls, independent, Catholic high school, is proud to have featured the works of seventeen professional alumnae photographers and three current student photographers at the first Alumnae Professional Photography Art Show on Saturday, April 5, 2008 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at The Thought Gallery located at 1621 North Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood, California (One half block south of Hollywood Boulevard).
It was a special evening as Marymount photographers, spanning more than 30 years, came together to present their unique perspective on the world, while explaining the different styles and methods of photography chosen.
Marymount alumnae, faculty, staff and friends were graciously and warmly welcomed for this first ever gallery showing and reception at The Thought Gallery. The Alumnae Professional Photography Art Show runs from April 5 through to May 2, 2008. Admission is free and the doors are open till midnight.
