At the opening of this and every school year, members of Marymount's Associated Student Body and Class Council pledge to be both leaders and role models in the Marymount community.  "As a member of the Marymount Associated Student Body/Class Council, I pledge to serve my peers and classmates to the best of my ability. I understand as a leader of this community I serve as a role model on and off campus. I promise to uphold the tenets of Marymount, Los Angeles: Trust, Community, Respect, Responsibility, Honor, Integrity, Human Dignity, and Honesty."
