Water Polo – End of Season – 2018 - 19

This season was very competitive for the Sailors. The players further developed and improved their fundamentals which ultimately proved beneficial in their game play. In league, the Sailors battled in many close games and by the end of the season the they finished third in league, out-scoring Alemany, Flintridge Sacred Heart, Louisville and Marlborough. With many players named to the All-League Team, Coach Katie is proud that other coaches in the league recognized the talent, determination and hard work that the Sailors embodied throughout the season.

Regarding tournament play, Marymount finished 3^rd in the Gold Division Burbank Tournament and took home 2^nd Place in the very competitive Palisades Tournament. Going in to CIF-SS Division V playoffs, Marymount won the first round in a close game against Santa Ana Valley by the score of 7-3. Round two was a hard fought game that resulted in a close loss against Eleanor Roosevelt HS to end playoffs. Overall, the Sailors had an exemplary season and they are looking forward to next year with a senior heavy, experienced team. Congratulations!
