FR/Soph Volleyball vs Long Beach Poly – 8.20.19

Marymount’s Fr/Soph Team played their first at home match of the season vs Long Beach Poly to an enthusiastic crowd. The Sailors started off strong. Gianna W. who recently moved to the middle blocker position had some really hard hits. Cece B. and Quincy W. did a great job setting all 3 hitters. On the opposite side of the court, Carly W. had 4 nice angle shot kills. Angela D.’s serving 8 straight in a row added to the 25-12, 25-8 win, but libero Lexi T. was the standout player of the match, both on the defensive side and with her hard hitting serve.
