JV Tennis vs BHHS – 8.22.19

The JV Tennis Sailors started the 2019-20 season with a team goal of staying undefeated and winning the League Championship for the 3^rd year in a row. The season started well with a strong win of 15-3 in the opening scrimmage against Beverly Hills High School. Caroline R. and Campbell L. who were undefeated in doubles last year, won their match 6-1, 6-2 and 6-1. Ashley R. and Alexandra M. played #3 doubles and won 6-3, 6-1 and 6-0.

Grace D. played #1 singles and won 6-1, 6-2 and 6-0. Keira L. played #3 singles and won 6-2 and 7-5. Marymount’s Singles teams won 7 out of 9 sets and Doubles won 8 out of 9 sets. Congratulations Sailors. The next match is vs against L.A. Marshall on August 29 at the Riverside Courts in Griffith Park.
