JV Volleyball vs Harvard Westlake – 9.19.19

JV started off their home match against Harvard Westlake’s Wolverine’s down 1-6. Nicole M. brought the team back with her serves and strong defense. Emma S. had some hard hits in the front row. Amelie L.’s passes to Dior C. turned into kills. Julia C. had great down the line shots. Coco K.’s hard hits helped save game 1’s win 25-20. Game 2 was a back and forth game. Nicole M. passed well. Emma S. served well and Keili K. set the ball well. The Sailors were unable to hold on to the lead and lost 22-25. It all came down to game 3. Emma S. started off serving the match 4-0 and that was the momentum needed for the Sailors to hold on and win game and the match 25-20, 22-25, 15-8. Congratulations Sailors on a hard fought win.
