Golf vs FSHA – 10.10.19

The Marymount Sailors hosted a home match against FSHA at Rancho Park Golf Course. The Sailors lost by one stroke to FSHA at the Mid-Season Tournament. With both teams evenly matched, Marymount expected this afternoons match to be a close one as well. Team Captains Grace J. and Joelle V. played in the first group against Katelyn H. and Kiko M. Grace J. shot the low score of the day with a 48 and Joelle V. scored 54. After the first group totals the Sailors were down by 1 stroke.

Emily F. and Katharine D. played in the second group against Jenny W. and Candy H. Emily F. posted a score of 53 and Katharine D. scored 55. With the second group totals in, the Sailors were in the lead. It all came down to the final pairings. Morgan S. and Maggie S. played in the final group against Julia K. and Katia St. Morgan S. shot a 66 her score was dropped and Maggie S. scored 60. It was a close match but the Sailors came up a little short this match. FSHA took home the win 270 - 265.
