JV Soccer vs Windward – 12.19.19

On the last game of 2019, the JV team ~~had~~ played a fantastic game against Windward HS when they battled to the end. Windward scored two goals in the first half. Marymount battled back to tie the game 2-2. In the last 5 minutes of the game another high shot made it into goal ending the game 2-3 with Windward winning. Malia C. started as keeper and made three brave point blank saves. With the amazing backline and mid coverage of Lauren R., Ashley R., Victoria F., Camille C. and Teya J. who all provided a strong defense for Windward to try and past. Goals were scored by Sarah K. and Keira C. and assisted by Teya J. and Taylor S., who bravely gave the team as many minutes as her injured foot would allow. A great way to finish off 2019 and what a game to prepare for league. Good luck Sailors!
