Varsity Soccer vs Harvard Westlake – 1.8.20

The Sailors came back from winter break ready to start league play. Their first game was against Harvard Westlake which is always a great match to play and this time was no different. HW was up 2-0 after 20 minutes into the game. Marymount scored a goal by Julia R. and assisted by Peyton B. Marymount goes into the half trailing 1-2.

The Sailors came back early in the second half with a goal scored by Maggie K. HW regained the lead with 20 minutes to go and scored another goal in the final few minutes of the game. Marymount lost a tough competitive game, 2-4. Coach Manu and Coach Asaf couldn’t be prouder of the great performance. The remainder of the season looks to be very promising.
