This year, our community was thrilled to welcome incoming ninth grade and transfer Sailors joining their sisters from all grades at the year’s first Community assembly in our Pavillion.

After prayer, Head of School Jacqueline L. Landry welcomed new and returning students, and the Associated Student Body (ASB) hosted an interactive-fun, talk-show style presentation introducing new staff and faculty members including, Ryanne DeGood, Religious Studies teacher, Sara Femenella, English teacher, Sally Katovsich, Director of Special Projects and Strategic Research, Meghan Maddis, Assistant Athletic Director, Monique Mansour, English teacher, Shanta Robinson, Dance teacher, Gillian Steiner, Photography teacher, Rachel Uriarte, Director of Marketing & Communications and Cyreeta Sharp, Associate Director of Communications and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) Outreach.

After an entertaining Q&A with faculty and staff, ASB continued the fun with a uniform fashion show, showcasing proper policies and shared this year's community goal to Instill a Life-Long Love of Learning and ASB theme, Make Waves and Sea Possibilities

Each year, students derive a school-wide theme from one of the six pillars shared by our global network of Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RHSM) schools. To read more about our network of sister schools and the RSHM goals, please visit our website’s page dedicated to the RSHM network.

Marymount’s faculty and staff are elated to have our students back on campus, as we begin another year of friendship, sisterhood, and academics in what we know will be an outstanding school year.
