JV Volleyball @ Redondo Tournament 9.10.22

JV played in the Redondo Union High School JV Tournament this Saturday, one of the best JV tournaments in Southern California. Seeded 3rd, the team played very well, starting with a successful path through pool play. They swept all three opponents: Archer, RUHS Frosh/Soph and Palos Verdes. They then defeated Lancaster HS JV (25-10), Aliso Viejo HS JV (25-18) and the Mira Costa Frosh/Soph team (25-21) to make the finals versus Mira Costa’s JV team. The Sailors battled with excellent blocking in the rematch from two weeks ago, but were unable to pull out the victory against the very strong squad (16-25). Well deserved All-Tournament honors went to Olivia P. ’26 and Grace J. ’26.
