• Volleyball vs. Marlborough 9.19.23

  This past Tuesday Marymount hosted Marlborough. JV and Frosh Soph both won in two sets; both scoring 25-9 and 25-12. Varsity played tough with Ryan G. '25 serving 4 aces, Gabby D. '24 having 3 aces, Annika A. '24 having 3 aces and Sammy D. '26 having 3 aces also. Ryan passed a 2.42 on serve receive and Sammy had 14 digs. Elle V. '26 had 14 kills, Sammy had 12 and Kate M. '24 had 11. Elle had 7 blocking assists as well as a solo block and Frankie J. '26 also had a strong solo block. Annika A. had 21 setting assists and Olivia P. '26 had 16 assists. The Sailors get ready for their first travel tournament of the season where they play in Las Vegas. 

• Volleyball vs. Alemany 9.18.23

  This past Monday Marymount traveled to Bishop Alemany HS for the first time this season. Frosh came out strong and won in 2 sets 25-16 and 25-23. JV won in two sets as well, winning 25-15, 25-16. Varsity lost the first two sets but came back and won the next 2 to push the game to a fifth set. Ryan G. '24 served tough with 2 aces and Sammy D. '26 passed a 2.20 on serve receive. Kate M. '24 led the night with kills having 21, Sammy D. had 15, Gabby D. '24 had 14 and Elle V. '26 had 12. Kate M. had 16 digs, Sammy D. had 14 digs and Annika A. '24 had 46 setting assists. The Sailors prepare for their game against Marlborough on Tuesday and the Durango Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

• Varsity Volleyball vs. NDA 9.12.23

  This past Tuesday Marymount Volleyball faced NDA for the second time and achieved a clean sweep with all 3 teams. Frosh won 25-22, 25-18 and JV won 25-20 and 25-16. Varsity played strong and also won in a 3 set sweep. They served tough with Gabby D. '24 serving 3 aces and Karys C. '27 serving 3 as well. Sammy D. '26 passed a 2.67 on serve receive and Ryan G. '25 passed a 2.33. Elle V. '27 led the night with 14 kills and Sammy D. had 10. The Sailors blocked strongly as Elle V. had 7 blocking assists, Gabby D. had 4 and Logan D. '25 had 3. Annika A. '24 and Olivia P. '26 each had 17 setting assists. The Sailors get ready to host Sierra Canyon on Thursday.
