Damon is a Co-Founder and the Chief Legal Officer of Lane42 Investment Partners, an alternative investment firm. He also serves on the Executive Committee of Lane42.
Previously, Damon served as a Partner in Kirkland & Ellis LLP's Los Angeles office for 20 years, where his practice focused on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, financings and restructurings.
Prior to Kirkland & Ellis, Damon was a corporate lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He has been recognized by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business every year since 2014 in the area of Corporate/M&A: Private Equity.
Damon received a BA from UC San Diego and a JD from Loyola Law School.
Damon’s wife, Lindy, is a Marymount alumna in the Class of 1989. Damon and Lindy have three children. Their daughters are graduates of the Marymount Class of 2020 and Class of 2022.
