Alumnae Association

Alumnae Association Mission Statement

Keeping the ideals of Marymount alive in the hearts of her graduates
and sharing those ideals with future generations of women.

ASSOCIATION

All Marymount alumnae are members of the Alumnae Association; there are no dues or fees.

COUNCIL

The Council is the representative body of the Association and the alumnae at large, and this year we consist of 10 graduates from a broad range of decades.

Each academic year, Council members work in close partnership with the school’s Alumnae Relations Office to:

    • Create programming which is meaningful and fun.
    • Reconnect alumnae not only to one another, but to the school.

EVENTS

Members of the Council serve on various committees and produce some of Marymount's most beloved alumnae traditions and events such as:
    • Home for the Holidays
    • Easter Eggstravaganza
    • Alumnae Career Forum
    • Reunion Weekend

ALUMNA OF THE YEAR

In January, the Council votes on the recipient of the Alumna of the Year Award, which is presented during Reunion Weekend in May. Recipients show the following qualities:
    • Have shown an extraordinary commitment to the principles of community service and Christian womanhood
    • Serve as a role model in her personal and professional life for current students and future graduates of Marymount High School
    • Have achieved excellence in her field
Nominations for Alumna of the Year are accepted through December.  Click here for more information about the Alumna of the Year Award.

SUPPORTING MARYMOUNT

The Alumnae Council plays a vital role in fundraising for Marymount by:
    • Promoting the importance of supporting the Alumnae Scholarship Fund each academic year.
    • Raising awareness about this important fund and assisting the school in procuring Class Representatives
