Using software, scanners, lighting and cameras, students explore the world of mediated project making. Visual Media students get a foundation in the aesthetic properties of design as well as an increased understanding of the power of cultural context. Media literacy, the creation of personally charged projects that use the foundations of design is the goal. Media students are rooted in the technology and visual communication of our modern era.
