    Position Overview
    Marymount seeks to hire an experienced and enthusiastic leader to serve as the Part-Time Girls' Assistant Varsity Tennis Coach. The ideal candidate must be able to improve the performance of student athletes through motivation, technical instruction, game strategies, and techniques to prepare them for competition. In addition to helping the athletes develop an appreciation for the sport. This position is seasonal from July 2026 through November 2026. 

    Job Duties & Requirements
    • Provides leadership, supervision, and organization for the Tennis Program and is responsible for carrying out the objectives of the head coach of the program within the guidelines of the Marymount Athletic Department Philosophy
    • Helps develop an organized practice schedule to provide individual and team instruction 
    • Educates the players regarding game rules, regulations, and equipment care
    • Accompanies the team to all scheduled games
    • Assesses and determines the need for individual and team improvement with the head coach
    • Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior and provides appropriate supervision of athletes at all times
    • Helps and encourages athletes to maintain high academic standards
    • Inform the Athletic Trainer in the event of an athletic injury
    • Demonstrates a high standard of sportsmanship and models nondiscriminatory practices when addressing players, officials, spectators, and visiting teams
    • Follows the school’s procedures for the proper care, maintenance, and requisitioning of equipment, supplies, and uniforms
    • Works with the Athletic Director and head coach to prepare for the end-of-season award celebration 
    • Attends the coaches' meeting and award ceremonies planned by the Athletics Department
    • Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the secondary or collegiate level
    • Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Athletic administrators, parents, and students 
  • Assistant Athletic Director

    Position Title: Assistant Athletic Director
    Status: Full-Time, Exempt
    Department: Athletics
    Reports to: Director of Athletics
    Position Start Date: 07/01/2026
    Pay Scale:  $85,000 - $95,000, Commensurate with experience 

    Job Summary 
    The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting with all administrative duties related to the Athletics Department. The Assistant Director works in collaboration with the Director of Athletics to ensure that the Athletics Department and program at Marymount High School foster skill development, sportsmanship, understanding of sports, compliance, and an education-based athletics culture. The ideal candidate has a passion for athletics and an all-girls school education. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics.

    Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with and assist the Athletic Director on all matters pertaining to the Athletics Department
    • Assist with scheduling team competitions as needed
    • Oversee communication regarding playoff schedules, and transfer students in CIF home
    • Prepare and coordinate the Athletic Officials' schedule seasonally
    • Assist the Athletic Director in the supervision of contests at home and away sites and ensure facility set up is accurate for home games
    • Coordinate and oversee athletic transportation and team travel itineraries, and expedite all related paperwork as needed
    • Assist with accounts payable to include transportation, equipment, and uniform invoices/billing
    • Assist with the ordering, payment, distribution, collection, and inventory of athletic uniforms and team gear
    • Create and maintain content for the Athletics Department’s website, push page, and social media accounts
    • Responsible for website data entry and publishing, including athletic schedules and rosters
    • Assist in overseeing and mentoring coaches
    • Help organize and oversee events on campus, such as signing days, awards ceremonies, and senior nights
    • Oversee Marymount's Athletic Council and facilitate events led by the council
    • Attend all Athletic Department and school meetings
    • Organize and administer the Athletics Summer Program
    • Comply with all Marymount High School policies, procedures, and quality standards as well as safety and environmental regulations
    Qualifications:
    • Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related Athletics field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an educational environment
    • Highly developed organizational ability and communication skills
    • Exceptional writing and speaking skills
    • Ability to prioritize assignments and follow through with minimal direction
    • Strong knowledge of technology, including the use of Excel, Canva, and other content-creation apps

  • Assistant Athletic Trainer

    Job Title: Assistant Athletic Trainer 
    Department: Athletics
    Reports To: Head Athletic Trainer 
    Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt, 12-Month 
    Pay Scale: $70,000 - $85,000/per year and commensurate with experience
     
    Position Overview:
    Marymount High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our staff. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and fitness and possess the clinical skills to assist in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. 
     
    Responsibilities:
    • Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
    • Provide coverage for practices and games as assigned, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and summers. 
    • Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with athletic training facilities, including maintenance of supplies and equipment as needed.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of injuries, treatments, and athlete health records in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
    • Communicate effectively with coaches, parents, physicians, and school administrators regarding athlete health and safety.
    • Support return-to-play decisions and concussion management protocols under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer.
    • Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in creating weight-lifting programs, sport-specific for female athletes.
    • Assist with supervising and guiding athletes during strength and conditioning workouts.
    • Ensure proper lifting techniques and safety protocols are followed at all times.
    • Support the implementation of training programs developed by the coaching staff.
    • Provide feedback and corrections to athletes to improve performance and reduce injury risk.
    • Monitor and report athlete progress or concerns to the Head Athletic Trainer.
    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of weight room facilities.
     
    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 1-5 of prior athletic training experience.
    • Certification/licensure as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Board of Certification (BOC).
    • Certification through a recognized organization (e.g., CSCS – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NSCA, NASM, or equivalent) required or in progress.
    • CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Commitment to student well-being, character development, and a healthy school culture.
    Preferred:
    • Previous experience in a high school environment.
    • Knowledge of best practices in injury prevention.
    Working Conditions:
    • Active work in a weight room and athletic training environment.
    Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Substitute Spanish Teacher for Leave of Absence

    Position Title: Substitute Spanish Teacher for Leave of Absence (October 2026 - February 2026; Due to the nature of this position, dates are subject to change)

    Status: Exempt
    Pay Scale: $42,000 - $48,000 and commensurate with experience
     
     
    Marymount seeks to hire an experienced Substitute Spanish Teacher who inspires a love of language and culture and is committed to creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment for high school students.

    Position Overview:
    The Teacher is a full-time teacher and member of the Modern Language Department, reporting to the Department Chair. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment where value is placed on the skills and passions of the instructor.

    Responsibilities:
    • Implement a challenging curriculum for students to master the four skills of language learning: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
    • Implement project-based learning to focus on student-driven discovery and exploration of Latin American and Spanish culture, or other cultures as applicable for language
    • Utilize differentiated instruction to meet student needs
    • Incorporate the use of technology in the classroom to enhance student learning
    • Establish an immersive language-learning classroom where students develop proficiency in the target language

    Position Overview:
    Marymount High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our staff. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, flexible, and passionate about health and fitness education. The candidate will also be an upbeat team player and member of the Athletics Department.

    Responsibilities:
    Part-Time Teaching (PE Instruction – up to four classes per semester and summer session):
    • Plan and deliver an engaging physical education curriculum aligned with state and school standards.
    • Foster student growth in physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall wellness.
    • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
    • Assess and regularly report on student progress.
    • Collaborate with other faculty and staff to integrate health and wellness into the broader school community.
    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field.
    • CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Commitment to student well-being, character development, and a healthy school culture.
    Preferred:
    • State teaching certification in Physical Education or eligibility to obtain it.
    • Previous experience teaching or working in a high school environment.
    • Previous experience in physical education pedagogy.
