Expansion

By 1930 Marymount had acquired the Sunset Boulevard property and a new phase began with the addition of a Junior College. To accommodate this expansion, as well as the ever-growing co-curricular programs, construction commenced on an auditorium, Cantwell Hall, which was completed in 1936.

Evolving Interests

Student Council was established to address the evolving needs and interests of the student body. The formation of new academic clubs enriched the extracurricular landscape and gave students the opportunity to pursue their passions for the arts, academics, and athletics.

COMPETITION

The integration of athletics into campus life gained momentum, as inter-class contests, races, and games on Field Day became increasingly popular.
