The online application for the 2021-22 school year will be available in August. The application deadline is January 8, 2021.

  • Step 1: Complete the Online Inquiry Form

    Please note: If you have already completed the inquiry form, then you are in our database and do not need to fill out the form again. 

    Future Applicants: Please fill out an inquiry form so we can be aware of your interest in Marymount - and to receive important email and mail communications from the Office of Admission.
  • Step 2: Complete the Online Application

    Click here to access the online application.

    You may click here for a step-by-step tutorial regarding how to complete our online application.  This tutorial includes information regarding how to obtain your login information. Once you have your login information, you will be able to begin the online application!

    Marymount also accepts the Standard Application Online (SAO), which is a common application shared among many independent schools through the Enrollment Management Association. Families applying to more than one independent school may find the SAO to be convenient. Click here to see which schools accept the SAO and to begin your application. Families will complete either the Marymount or the SAObut not both. Please note that there is no preferential treatment given in the admission process based upon which application your family chooses to submit. 

  • Step 3: Interview with a member of Marymount’s Administration/Faculty

    Interviews are held from November through the first week of February. Once you have submitted the application, you can self-schedule your family's interview in the myMarymount system. Both student and parent(s) will spend individual time with a member of the Marymount community.
  • Step 4: Register for and take the ISEE

    CLICK HERE to register for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). 

  • Step 5: Download Recommendation Forms

    Administrator, Math, and English Teacher Recommendation Forms for 2020-21.

    All Recommendation Forms for 2021-22 will be available in August. They can be completed after December 1, 2020, but submitted no later than January 15, 2021. 

    The Administrator Recommendation form should be completed by your daughter’s current Head of School/Principal, Middle School Director, or Counselor. The Teacher Recommendation forms should be given to your daughter’s current English and Mathematics teachers. 

    Parents should download the forms, email them to your daughter's recommenders, and they can complete and submit their recommendations via email directly to [email protected] 
  • Step 6: Request a complete transcript from current school

    The Transcript Request Form should be submitted to your daughter’s current school.  The transcript must include the past two years' final grades and her current year first trimester/semester grades.  Transcripts must be emailed directly to Marymount High School at [email protected]    

  • Step 7: Optional: Shadow Visits

    Applicants are given an insider's view into a day in the life of a Marymount girl. This event is only available to applicants and is an optional step in the admission process. Attendance will not be factored into the candidates admission decision. Shadow visits are typically held in January and February. 
*Decision notification letters for 2021-22 applicants will be mailed and emailed March 5, 2021, to each candidate who has a complete file. Should you apply after the deadline, the Admission Committee will make decisions on a rolling basis depending on space availability.
