Better Self for a Better World

BE BOLD. BE YOU.

Middle school is a crucial time for young girls to build strong friendships, find inspiring mentors and recognize themselves as leaders in their local and global communities.

Join us for an exciting morning of activities and talks where you will learn more about self-confidence, friendship, open-mindedness and respect, focusing on how our leadership and ideas can impact the world. Then work together on a special community service project.

This fun student-led event will spark deep discussions and enable you to create new connections with other middle-school girls from across the Los Angeles area! You will leave feeling empowered and motivated... and you'll have some new friends, too!

Marymount's annual All-Girls Leadership Conference is open to current 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and is completely designed and executed by current Marymount students. The conference title "

What is BSBW?

Our goal is simple: to give young girls the tools necessary to better themselves as well as the world. The morning topics are designed to allow for reflection, discussion, and interactive small group activities. After lunch, the focus shifts to leadership in the local and global communities, giving girls the opportunity to participate in a service project that offers an immediate impact on the local community. Our promise to you is the day will be filled with meaning, purpose, and tons of fun!
