Colleen McCarthy Pennell ‘89

Colleen is a Trustee of the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Foundation, founded in 1952 by her grandparents, who shared a deep commitment to the values of compassion and community and to helping others.

Colleen received her B.A. from Georgetown University, where she served as a Member of the Board of Regents until 2020. She previously served on the Board at Marymount High School from 2003-2009, and she has also served on the St. Paul the Apostle School Foundation Board.

Colleen’s mother and aunt both graduated from Marymount, as did her niece. Colleen and her husband Chris have two sets of twins. Their younger children attend Saint Paul the Apostle School, and their older daughters graduated from Marymount in 2022.
