Shannon is a Registered Nurse at St. John’s Health Center. She completed her undergraduate work at USC, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, and she received her Nursing degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College.

Shannon serves on the Board of Trustees at Saint John’s Health Center Foundation. She is also a Board Member of the Irene Dunne Guild and an Honorary Board Member of the John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary.

Shannon and her husband, Kirk, are active volunteers at Saint Martin of Tours School and Parish. They have two sons and a daughter. Their daughter graduated from Marymount in 2022. Shannon’s cousin graduated from Marymount in 1957 and was the recipient of the Alumna of the Year Award (posthumously) in 2004.
