Mission Statement

Marymount High School is an independent, Catholic, all-girls school with the core purpose of educating and empowering young women to live lives of consequence as ethical leaders with a global perspective and an unshakable commitment to the common good.

Our Difference

Marymount girls come from 55 zip codes and over 85 feeder schools across the greater Los Angeles area. They are thinkers, scientists, writers, leaders, athletes, artists, advocates and friends. After graduation, Marymount alumnae attend top-tier, diverse colleges and universities all over the world. They take the passions developed at Marymount and enter professions as varied and numerous as the alumnae themselves.

From the South Bay beach cities to the south, the San Fernando Valley to the north, Hancock Park to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west, Marymount's different bus routes offer girls all over Los Angeles the opportunity to enjoy a Marymount education. Our comprehensive bus transportation service travels across 9 cities throughout the greater Los Angeles region.

    Living all the way in Hermosa Beach makes it difficult for my parents to take me to school every day, but having the bus available has alleviated this burden! It has been a great place to socialize with my friends, get homework and studying done, and catch up on sleep.
