Julie Whittell graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Scandinavian Lauguages. She has taught Math for twenty years at all-girl schools in Los Angeles, including Marymount, where she began her teaching career. In addition to earning her Masters degree in Education, she holds a Secondary Credential in Administration and in Mathematics, all from Loyola Marymount University. Julie has been a math tutor for students in Los Angeles for over thirty years.
