On Monday, Feb. 25, Marymount Alumnae, along with members of the Alumnae Council, hosted an on-campus Career Forum for our students. Alumnae panelists shared with students about their experiences in a broad range of professions including public service, finance, publishing, medicine, engineering, aerospace, law, marketing, entertainment, technology, and journalism.
As panelists spoke about their careers, aspirations, and challenges, they shared the ways in which their Marymount education prepared them for their college and career paths, particularly in regard to problem-solving, multi-tasking, and collaboration. The alumnae also spoke about the many ways in which they remain connected to Marymount, and about the important role their former classmates continue to play in their lives as friends, colleagues, and mentors.
Following the panel discussions, students had the opportunity to speak informally with individual panelists at a Career Fair on Senior Lawn.
