Five Marymount Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent on National Signing Day

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, our community recognized five Sailor Strong athletes who committed to continue their athletic careers in college by signing a National Letter of Intent on National Signing Day.
According to the NCAA, approximately 8 million high school students participate in athletics every year. Of those 8 million athletes, approximately 0.6% men and women sign a National Letter of Intent. A National Letter of Intent (NLI) is a binding agreement between an athlete and a school. It states that a student agrees to attend the school listed on the NLI for one academic year in exchange for that school awarding the student athlete financial aid for at least one year. By signing this NLI, the recruitment process ends and these athletes officially commit to college.
Congratulations to the following students:

  • Marisse T. ‘20 - Cal State Fullerton - Volleyball
