Today we lost to NDHS 259-199.

Notre Dame is a very strong team that is well coached & a joy to play win or lose.

Our player of the match was Jr. Green Park who shot 45. Her Partner was Jr Katrina Stevenson (53). They played the strongest pair from NDHS today. Sr. Stephanie Bush was the medalist with a stellar 2 under par 37 her partner was Fr. Kathryn Newton (42).

In the lead group there were 4 Freshman. We had Aly Isaak & Erin Argano (50) they were our group of the match. There effort, attitude & speed of play were exceptional. There opponents were delightful Janet Yeo(42) & Lauren Crittenden(53)

MHS Jr. Lauren Currie (53) & Sr. Co-captain Dasha Suharev (56) played against Jr Tina Nagai (42) & Jr. Arielle Valdez (39).

In the last group was our Sr. Co-captain Lauren Wallender(52) & So. Amy Monzon (56). There opponents were Sr. Jessica Stone (43) & Fr. Sammy Winchester (41).

Notes:

NDHS played without their top player So. Katelyn Reynolds. There 199 is the lowest score posted against us in the last 5 years.

NDHS 2-0 in league 2-0 overall

MHS 1-1 in league 1-1 overall

PLAYER OF THE WEEK.

Sr. Co-captain Lauren Wallender had a birdie in each match this week & was medalist in our Match on Tuesday. Lauren is also a great leader by example and as four year starter she is a valuable asset to our program. She is helpful & kind to all her teammates. Lauren is a fine example of Sailor strong.
