Highlights: The air was electric in this first meeting between Marymount vs Marlborough. You could feel it from the players, coaches and parents. The Lady Sailors not playing with their normal starting line-up accomplish a decisive win over very good Marlborough Squad.
In the first round, the Lady Sailors open up with a 4-2 lead. By the second round the Lady Sailors shifted into another gear with an impressive display of court execution. Marymount completed that round 6-0 securing a early victory against very competitive Marlborough squad. In the third round Lady Sailors sub out some players and went 3-3. (one match was incomplete due to court time, Marlborough was leading , point forfeit to them.) The final score was 13-5.
Alex Spring - Anderson #1 singles went 2-0, Remi Alfallah #2 singles 2-1, Melissa Hilaire #3 singles 2-1.
Kelli Snyder/Lauren Higgins #1 doubles went 2-1,Danielle Levine/Crystal Tjoa #2 2-1, Alex Otto/Chloe Zarco #3 2-0 (great win over Marlborough #2, really the #1 team). Miki Heldman in singles and Chelsea Otto/Rachel Sands combined went 1-1.
