Golf vs. Marlborough – 9.3.19

The Sailors kicked off the season opener against Marlborough with the summer heat, lighting fast greens, and tough pin locations, making Wilshire Country Club one of the toughest golf courses to play in Southern California. Sophomore Emily F. came out hot shooting a low score of 41. Emily F.’s shots from tee to green were strategically placed with precision. Sophomore Katharine D. played well and shot the second lowest score of 52. Maggie S. Morgan S. and Katharine D. played well, grinding out every shot in their first ever golf match.

The Sailors are full of bright new faces and talent this year and Coach Trent is very excited about the season ahead. Final score Marymount 269 – Marlborough 210
