JV Tennis vs Geffen – 9.11.19

The Sailors headed to Sycamore Courts to play Geffen Academy. The previous matches, in years past against Geffen have always been competitive and this one was no different, coming down to the total number of games won. Marymount’s doubles teams Lauren R. and Chiara T won their match 7-5, 6-0, 6-4 and Lindsey R. and Olivia T. won their match 7-5, 6-2, 6-4. The Sailors ended up tied 9-9 in sets, but it all came down to games won and the final score was Marymount 72-Geffen 79.
