Varsity Basketball San Marino Tournament 12.1.21

The Sailors traveled to San Marino High School to play in their first tournament of the season. The first match-up was a tough one against Bishop Conaty. Although the Sailors struggled with their press, they moved the ball effectively for some good shots throughout.  Defensively we struggled with our man-to-man defense, so Coach E. switched to a 1-2-2 at the half and executed to create more turnovers and give the team more opportunities.  Kate Swartz was fearless defensively and had 4 points in the second half to lead us in scoring for that half.  The team plays again tomorrow at 3:30pm for game 2 of the tournament.
