Volleyball vs. La Costa Canyon 8.14.23

This past Monday Marymount Volleyball hosted La Costa Canyon in their first game of the season. Frosh won their game in 2 sets. Khloe W. '27 served about 20 serves in a row and Mica M. '27 played middle really well. They did a great job of moving the ball around and were consistent in passing. JV dominated and won their game in 2 sets, 25-8 and 25-12. Presley J. '26 and Suhailah T. '26 were players of the game and Presley showed great leadership skills and kept the team focused even when they had a big lead. Varsity won their game in 3 sets (25-14, 25-7, 25-19). Gabby D. '24 came in in the 3rd set after recovering from her injury. As Marymount had a clean sweep over La Costa Canyon they headed back to the gym to prepare to face La Cañada High School on Wednesday and Mira Costa on Thursday.
