Volleyball vs. Mira Costa 8.17.23

This past Thursday Marymount faced Mira Costa at home and all three teams fought hard. Caroline C. '27 went on an amazing serving run in the first set and Francesca R. '27 also served tough. Khloe W. '27 had some great swings on the back set and Camille C. '27 was very consistent with passing. Frosh/Soph went to a third set and fought for every point. Costa got the first set against JV but JV fought back and forced the game to a third set. Both Frosh and JV gave it their all however unfortunately Costa was able to take the third set on both teams for the win. Varsity faced a tough loss but they put up a strong fight. Karys C. '27 had 9 digs and Sammy D. '26 had 7. Kate O. '27 had a strong solo block and Annika A. '24 had 12 assists. The Sailors get ready for their games against Vista Murrieta next Tuesday and NDA on Thursday.
