Varsity Volleyball @ RUHS 8.29.23

This past Tuesday Marymount traveled to Redondo Union High School for their first official away game. Frosh came back and forced the game to a third set and ultimately closed out the tie-breaking set 15-7. JV also went to 3 sets and played hard to take the third set 15-11. Varsity came out swinging and fought on every play and the close game went to a tiebreaker fifth set. The Sailors faced a tough loss but battled until the end. Ryan G. '25 passed a 2.33 and Vanessa C. '24 had an incredible save where she dove and picked up an offspeed hit off the block. Kate M. '24 had 20 kills and Kate O. '27 hit 0.667%. Rosie T. '27 had 9 block assists, Kate M. also had 4 block assists and Annika A. '24 had 29 setting assists. The Sailors prepare for their next away game at Lakewood.
