  • JV Tennis vs. Archer 9.20.23

Though the JV Tennis team did not win their game against Archer this week, the girls were able to keep up their spirits the whole time. Shelby S. ‘26 and Brooklyn S. ‘26 were able to deliver the team a victory in one of their doubles matches. Not only did they work together so well, they also spent their time between games to cheer on their fellow teammates. Keep up the hard work Sailors!
  • JV Tennis vs. Campbell Hall 9.14.23

JV Tennis took on Campbell Hall on our home courts at Cheviot on Thursday. The Sailors battled but ultimately took the loss at 4-14. Jacqueline G. '25 racked up two points in her singles matches, one from an awesome tiebreaker win of 7-1. Sara S. '26 snagged another win in her singles match, 6-2. Our final win came from doubles pair Mattea R. '26 and Chloe P. 26, 6-4. On to the next!
  • JV Tennis vs. Chaminade 8.31.23

JV Tennis put in a lot of effort to win but sadly lost by only a few points. Two players that should be spotlighted are Chloe P. '26 and Mattea R. '26. With great teamwork and determination, Mattea and Chloe were able to not only beat their opponents once but twice. The future is bright for the Sailors and they continue to improve this season.
